Introduction

There are two kinds of user management in BrainStim. This document explains the management of Operating System users, this is the user account that is used for logging into the operating system (e.g. Microsoft Windows) and this can be a local or domain account. The other type of user management is explained in this document and is disabled by default and named Custom User Logins, it's also advised to only make use of this feature when there's the need for different user management and there's no possibility of making use of the Operating System Users accounts.

The name of the current OS user is shown in the BrainStim main windows title, the second part (after the BrainStim version information) is the name of the current OS user.
